Hey, am on airtel bb in Pune and am facing the same issues for the last 2 days. Was just going to post about it and found this thread. So what’s up with this, after 5 refreshes I can get the page but the torrent link just doesn’t download. Don’t tell me India is being blocked? And if yes, why?

Weird. just accessed it from proxy.org and a proxy site and could download the torrent which means Indian ips are being blocked. Whats up with this.

Spacescreamer: That’s old news, demonoid was offline for sometime last month. Its working now for everyone it seems but people from India.

if they were shifting servers even existing torrents would have been blocked :dead: ,but my current torrents are working still …lets hope they have only a tech glitch :frowning:

BTW, Demonoid.cc is also having the same problem (at least in BSNL)

demonoid with .com not working for me , but demonoid.cc is able to open up for me but I can’t browse torrents or download them either .
I am with Tata :frowning:

Looks like they have blocked traffic from India because I can download torrents through a proxy.

Same here, i can get to demonoid through an US proxy but not through my own net. Someone is certainly blocking. dunno whether its demonoid blocking Indian ISPs or Indian ISPs blocking demonoid

Using myspacefast.info and proxy.org to access demonoid torrents. This is really sucky, there must be an explanation for who is blocking what.

The only problem is when you use Proxy to download a torrent you’ll not get the Upload/Download credit at demonoid and you can well expect that your ratio to get messed up.

BTW, Demonoid is still not loading properly in BSNL.
