another +1 for NOD 32…also for updating u can use a lan update server which can update from internet and then update the other comps which dont have internet thru local lan…

yeh…been using it for almost 6 months now..no issues so far…

pretty light and stable..

+1 from ma side too…have been usin for more than a year and its just too good..too fast n we can do multitasking at the time of scanning too…
now i’m usin v3.0.566.0

NOD32 is the KING…
i personally prefer version 2.7 but 3.0 is also ok.
firewall still needs some work in the Security Suite/watever.

ya got it but this is for 2.7 only
i tried downloding and my nod 32 v 3 kept poping up saying infected files

  1. Have NOD32 installed in your pc
  2. Plug-in your USB Stick and make a new folder.eg:- NOD32
  3. Goto x:\program files\ESET (NOD32 Installation Directory)
  4. Copy nod32.000, nod32.002, nod32.003, nod32.004, nod32.005, nod32.006, nod32.exe, nod32r.dll, nod.ovl into your thumbdrive:\NOD32 (if you couldn’t find nod32r.dll, you may copy nod32api.dll and nod32aui.dll)
    5: Copy all files in updates into yourthumbdrive:\NOD32
    6: Your NOD32 portable is ready to use. Run the nod32.exe from any pc

Very low sized, very efficient AV.

Interface is not as good as AVG’s but it is miles ahead of stupid programmes like Norton!
