As far as i am concerned, I dont know if i will even buy one.
R600 will decide what happens.
Unless R600 is really bad, ATI has my money. For last 5 cards cycles, ATI always had overall better offering when it comes to high end cards. So money stays in pocket till R600 results are out.

I think since ATI has merged with AMD, he has mentioned AMD in the poll.
Iam not much of a gamer, so I guess Il go with Nvidia this time around coz its almost always better at opengl and runs cooler.
I have other purchases lined up so this will have to wait…Maybe April…By then prices will drop a bit…Hmm 8900GT will be nice…may have the perf of 8800GTX…thats hw it goes with Nvidia doesnt it…But again for that to happen AMD/ATI will have to pip Nvidia with its R600 which Iam 99% sure it will…
I’m happy with my x1900xtx and sitting tight :P. The GTS is not of much use anyway… the performance is definitely not worth 500$. It gets beaten by x1900xtx/x1950xtx in many benches and the former is nearly a 1 yr old card now :P.
No plan,will wait till R600 results are out,will decide then.

Had decided to get a GTS in December, but changed my mind..
I will wait for the Red cards to enter the market and the competition to heat up so that prices can decrease a bit. After April/May maybe after I get a salary revision
u are wrong. whatever benchs i have seen the x1900xt & 1950 both are loosing by 25 - 50%. to the gts. the gtx is much faster.
also at this moment i would rather buy a ps3 for 500$ than a gts.
Arre he is talking about the GTS and not GTX.Its a well known fact that the GTX pwns all

i am an nvidia fan but i am waiting for DAMIT’s response. the PS3 also is looking very good to me now.
I am waiting for 8800GTX(X2) and square, multiply and quadruply that. The day that card gets released and is below the 50$ mark, i will be getting one. Or i am just waiting for ATi’s response to teh Nvidia..

Chaos I know you are obsessed with that 30" Dell but it has to be stated that it is only at
2560X1600 that 1950XTX manages to get close and that too probably coz of driver issues…
In general upto 1900X1200 the 8800GTS is abt 25% faster than 1950XTX not to say it will trounce the XTX in crysis with better IQ to boot. ofcourse from XTX to 8800GTS isnt necessary nw, but frm 1800XT/7900GT to 8800GTS is def on with the 8800GTS at 450$.
