Can ne 1 tell me how 2 change d memory frequency..using bios…?

I can change d CPU clock nd multiplier…easily…
but im not able 2 find any option 2 modify memory frequency…

d ONLY option im g8ng is FSB:DRAM..
but d question is wen i try 2 change fsb 2 like 450Mhz nd multiplier set 2 max ( 7 )
d ram freq changes 2 900mhz..( 450x2 = 900 )..according to

FSB:DRAM = 1:1…nd der is no option lower than that…

nd 900Mhz is a risky freq for transcend rams…

I have Phoenix award BIOS 15…can ne1 help me locating d option 2 modify mem freq..?

ns is der ne software for overclocking..?

CPU - Intel E6550
MOBO - Abit ip35-e
RAM - 1Gb x 2 800 Transcend

What risky?? LOL if changing CPU FSB from 333MHz to 450MHz is not risky then why for RAM 900 for 800MHz. I m running @ 960MHz 5-5-5-15 2.1v, Run Memtest 86+ after OCing to test stability.

it cant be lower than 900mhz

and transcend ram is good enuf for 900mhz i guess

just make the ram timings loose

isnt der ne option 2 mosdiy mem freq…or is it only 1 option..FSB:DRAM

wat abt softwares like clockgen..?

the fsb: dram option IS MEANT TO modify the ram speed :smiley:
