Any good AGP card for 4k?
My config is
AMD Athlon XP2600+ Barton
512MB RAM
Seagate 80GB HDD
ASUS A7V-400MX mobo
I generally game at 1024*768 and generally play NFS:MW,FS2004,RTS (AOE/DOW/RON/ROL etc.)

look out for used 6600 gt’s on TE , they should be around 3.5 to 4 k 
hmm…ok.till how much time will the 6600gt be able to play the future games (mind u,at 1024*768)
How good is the XFX 6200 AGP?
my requirements are
RTS,racing games at 1024*768 ( i have a 17" monitor).I mostly play NFS:MW,Dawn of war etc.
No dude, the 6200 is just a little better than the 9600 you have. Or is it had ?
Anyways, if you can get a second hand Geforce 6600 GT which has about 2 years of warranty left for abt 4.5k, it will be a good buy.
I have a 6600 GT and I play almost all games at 1024 x 768, but that wont last long as games like Oblivion are here which makes the 6600 look like a cheap card.
Thanks for replying!Actually the card is dieing.its artifacting like hell.Actually im not in favour of getting the more expensive ones because for the next quiet some time,ill not be able to play often and much.So i just want something kaamchalao.
the 6200 agp isnt all that good without unlocked pipes..and the TC versions is not as good as the 9600 even ( 64bit mem ver) so its better u look for a used 6600gt … will play all games in the coming year at least at low settings

A Geforce 6600 should be inside your budget for abt 4.5k. It will come with a 3 year warranty and so no headaches. But I too will suggest you to get a second hand Geforce 6600 GT for abt 4.5 with 2 years warranty left.
