Since my speeds were doubling @ night came to a . stop a few days back…
Called up Airtel CC to enquire abt any new plans…
he said there is a plan where the user gets 128kbps during day (unimited)& 256 kbps during night complete unlimited…
Note : This would not be a special offer for somtime…but a new tariff plan.:clap:

But he said this is already in many other places & not in Bangalore yet…he even said when this is launched..they would advertise this publicly :wink:
So people what do u think of this plan..
if they do this such that i get 256kbps during day & 512 kbps during night…i’d be very very happy…:gunsmile:
Then the otehr ISPs’ will feel :lame:

This wont happen yet…

What they mean is that they will ask you to pay 49/- extra per month to get double speeds during the night

Coz in Bangalore people were already getting 128 in the day and 256 at night for free… In Chennai, people had to pay a 49/- fee for this scheme.

So, maybe Airtel have decided to make people in Bangalore also pay for this service… Hope they do the same for 256 kbps also…

I used to get that speed since a few months…& it stopped…:thinking:
called the CC . they have no clue abt the offer that i was using..:tongue:
then he told me there will be a plan coming in some time..( i hope his measurment is in days ):clap:

I never saw a speed increase during the night… from what I heard, that was an experiment so subscribers were chosen at random.

Airtel is lame compared to iGate!

32 kBps day. for the 256 kbps Connection. 64ms to Sg :unamused_face:

It was for 128kbps users only… 256kbps users never got double the speed in the night

I know one 256k user in Bangalore who had increased speeds at night… I don’t think he was the only one.

Its not a bold statement. Its a fact.

Atleast in my Area, iGate service is really good.

Never had a downtime since ive got it.

Edit : Oops yea, i had downtime ince, and that was corrected in 2 mins flat. And everything was fine :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I won’t argue… let’s hear you say that a few months down the line. At least I know about Airtel’s stability through experience, over 4 years of it :wink:

i also read the news abt the airtel new plan .. but they didnt even mentioned the hwat will be download limit and what actually we will have to pay .. if any one know abt it.. plz do tell me..

Night as in 11pm to 6am? Then i’m already getting 512kbps for no cost on my Rs.999 256 unlm plan.

Looks like Igate’s good too. If they are delivering those plans with no downtimes. They should look to cover more area and advertise.
