Anyone here purchased Eset NOD antivirus?

Hi,
i was planning on purchasing a liscence of Eset NOD av for Xp64, since the fixes dont work and the virus defs cannot be updated.

Can i use the same login info on 2 pc’s or it will work only on a single PC?

Thanks
Vivek

the 32 one is not working on the same is it ?

why purchase nod when u can get avast which works on x64 systems very well for free?

and besides avast, i think even comodo is free now - though not sure whether its firewall and antivirus or only firewall

NOD32 is lightweight and effective. Out of all the antivirus programs out there and I have used many its the least intrusive and doesn’t make big deal of protecting your computer like some other well known antivirus do. I haven’t used Avast so can’t comment.

Updates aren’t working anymore so have temporarily switched to AVG. However how does one go about getting the legit version of NOD32 here in India, if its reasonably priced I would gladly get it.

nod is one of the good antivirus solutions for vista64 , i am using it

dunno about xp64 though…

i doubt if they allow same licence on 2 comps

they have ads in chip or digit, dunno which . the cost per subscription is around 1.5k i think, dont hold me to it tho :stuck_out_tongue:

Go for AVAST it’s free, comodo Firwall and Antivirus is free (though check for vista)

im guessing u already checked this out…but anyways here’s the list of retailers in india

ESET - Essential Security against Evolving Threats

why dont u send a mail to one of them regarding ur query…

you can order it online and pay with your credit card. you’ll get the user id and password for updates via email and then you can download the A/V software from their site

Yeah He is right..In India itz so costly..

You can find the best fix available.

I use the NOD32 2.x version with patch and it works perfectly well

nice, to see atleast someone thinks of buying the softwares then uses it, while others…

@Vivek

Good work😊

try contacting them here

Yes, Nod32 is freakin fast but as u said, there have been a “key” problem lately. So i tried Avast and i am loving it. Speed cant be compared of nod32 and avast but u can see a lil bit of difference. Most ppl hate it because everytime u click the avast desktop icon, it does a memory test which busies the system for sometime. You can change this setting.

Its free and catches virus every now and then. Give it a try before u “buy” nod32, its free.

well…i have been using nod for a long time and love it…i dont thinh 1.6k is too much for a good AV…i just want to be able to use it on w pc’s thats all
