My friend in usa need to buy processor mobo and video card for $350
any suggest for him
150 for video card 200 for processor mobo
He able buy from local shop and newegg too
better get a Biostar 690G board and a X2 3600+ for arnd $150 and spend the rest on a 8600GTS
the reson i suggested x2 over c2d is well obvious…he can get a good c2d setup…say a e4300 and a evga 650i ultra for around $230 leaving him with around $120 for a GFX card which means either a 7600GT or a 8500GT
ofcourse if ur friend can increase the budget by $30 then he can go with the c2d setup with a decend card NV 7900GS
all depends on wat kind of usage the rig is gonna be put up2
He going to use it modeling
for Eg Maya, zbrush, mudbox and photoshop
all the more reason to get a good graphics card…either a 7900GS or a 8600GTS
just pick the platform (AMD or c2d) and decide
any more suggestions
anyone suggest mobo for AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ Dual Core CPU 2.5GHz Brisbane Core, 2x 512KB L2 Cache, 65nm, Socket AM2 CPU Processor,
whats the budget for the mobo?
if you need a mobo for 350-(X2 4800 + 8600GT), things would be really tight. Consider a mobo for around $130, there are very good ones in that range.
he can go for $120 for mobo
If i were to buy a mobo at this range, I would get
this
