Best computer vendor in Bangalore?

Hi,
I’ll be buying a new comp soon,I went to SP road yesterday and the prices for various components varied a lot b/w shops but on totalling,the system as a whole was priced almost same.Now my question is Which dealer is good?i.e.,who offers better after sales support?I had been to ankit,Sultania and others.So can anyone help me out here.
Regards

Ankit is expensive, Golcha used to be fine but has become greedy in recent months. I suggest you buy from Bangalore computers (first left after passing Ankit). And remember, you’ll need to negotiate a bit to get best prices so it’s always a good idea to check prices at a few stores.

@Rio
I mean the prices vary by 300-400 for each stores,Like @ golcha a CM 600W is 4500(funny bcoz he’s an authorized dealer in CM products),@ankit it is 3600/- and at sultania it is 3800/-.Just an example.I’ll check out bangalore computers today or tommo.How much bargaining is ok? the margin atleast…

or do i book first and then bargain?This is my first purchase on my own…

^tell them u are there to purchase & not for any timepass & start negotiating..

One of the best prices in SP road are probably by acme computers. He deals in almost all of the usual stuff and he will give you a good price.

p.s 1. Tell him about the guy from Assam who buys a lot of stuff from him..and bargain hard.

good luck and happy buying

Best way to get ‘ankit’ to reduce prices are take a quote from him on stuff and tell him you’l check out the market and come. Then goto AR (or AM) computers AND goto Balaji computers which is basically in the same building as Sahara Computers but on the first floor (sahara is on the left a little before golcha).

Bring these two quotes to Ankit and show it to him and start bargaining… Done :slight_smile: And yes, do tell them you’v come to buy and not just take quotes..

Try bangalore computers also , prices is pretty decent

@Rio and @Lord_Dagon
Actually i’m looking forward to better after sales service and good prices…So does bangalore computers have good after sales support?
@ank1t
Ur method seems complicated man…needs lots of haggling :slight_smile:
@raj_pol
Does acme computers provide good after sales support?

This is something even I am interested in :smiley:

And as nj gamer said, something with better after sales support is always preferred. Something like SMC for Delhi. Good prices if not great prices but great after sales support.

ctually i’m looking forward to better after sales service and good prices…So does bangalore computers have good after sales support?

good price=yes

after sales dont know about that , never had a problem with the components i bought from them

Ankit has good support.. And to get a good price from him try what i said. it works (as long as you’r willing to work a bit) :expressionless:

Ask for Dinesh in Ankit Infotech. Give reference of me there…he knows me as Mr.Sarkar. His prices r bit high but u can always bargain.He knows the distris really well…so a good shop for high end stuffs.

As of common stuffs, try Bangalore Computers(ask for Dilip/Tarun)

^ Yes thats the guy! Dinesh.. I was trying to recall his name..

U could have asked me.

I and my friends used to buy from Bangalore Computers in late 90s. Once had a DOA memory module, went back to him couple of days later and got it replaced without any hassle. Later my friends bought few IBM hdds and all of them went dead in couple of months. They had some rough time getting those replaced and IIRC payed up some extra cash to change to a diff brand.

I havent bought anything from there in many years, maybe I’ll try them again next time I visit SP road.
