GOD DAMMIT!!! thnx for your efforts..tht helped me alot srsly..
Now am just confused to go for TRUE 120 or Hyper 212 or Xigmatec..
A frnd is having an unused TRUE Box pack and selling it for 2.2k..now am thinking to go for that one or to go for Xigmatec from KMD @ 2.4k w/o retentioon kit or get CM Hyper 212 from NP shipped to mumbai..2k+50 bux more..
Tight on budget.
2.2k + 800 BUx for Scythe Fan = 3k for TRUE 120 ( even if i go for normal 120MM FAN still its 400 bux or so)
Hyper212 here in mumbai its 2450/- and if i get it shipped from Chandigargh or NP (delhi) its around 2.1k with FAN
Xigmatek from KMD for 2450 shipped with FAN.
Retention kit is available with TRUE 120 MM or retention kit is not included in any cooler?
So many options! :S

Xigmatek S1283 seems a lot smarter to me .
How about OCZ Vendetta 2 Guys ?
Vendatta 2 seems to be the best HDT Heat Sink out there, but its hard to find and costly where its available.
I think i’ll finalise with TRUE 120 ??? getting it for 2.2k from a friend.. new and unused with all accessories and box..

Ummm, I’d reckon the S1283 over the OCZ V2;
Damn I did even find one abroad retailing for like 2k INR but then it was way too heavy; :no:
Not my cup of tea;
The best one currently would be the Sunbeam CCF for like 36USD;
Someone’s already getting it I presume;
So lets wait for his feedback;
4 heatpipes unlike the S1284 where it hardly makes any diff;
I would prefer CM hyper 212 . with 3.4 ghz overlclock the idle temp is just abt 34 c and with load goes to 40 . and computer is on 24/7

heh..heh.. My GeminII weighs about 1.2 Kilo with 2 x 120mm x 120mm 38mm Fans.
So OCZ V2 would still be lesser weight for me.

Sumbeam CCF also luks good, but dont know how good that retention mechanism would be. Plastic and heavy metal HSF’s do not mix well.
btw, does it allow use of a bolt-through retention kit if required?

I really dont think so but then anything other than the push-pin brackets’ certainly a welcome move;
not having PWM fan with Sunbeam Core Contact freezer..put me off..but thats just me…
got Quote from KMD:
Xigmatek S1283 = 2.4k
OCZ Vendetta 2 = 2.7k
OCZ V2 and Xigmatek both seem to be better than TRUE 120 / TRU
Which one do you guys say??
PS: both the coolers mentioned above comes with 1 x 120mm FAN
ok… any more suggestions?
Which dealer in india should i contact for Xigmatek S1283 ?
Please give details along with addr. and phone nos.
you’ll have to get it through katmandude
sTALKEr seems like there is no availability in india?
Yep.. its not available in India..also OCZ V 2 is not available in India.
