Hey guys,
I am looking for the best screen recording software..
My aim is to record my ingame activities and recording some desktop activity..
I have heard that Fraps is good but still want some opinions over it

For desktop screen recording, nothing beats the simple yet powerful open source tool CamStudio. This, coming from a Camtasia user of many years.

Snagit is fine for image screen captures, not great for screen recording…the flexibility of CamStudio makes it the best free tool available, giving Camtasia (paid + superior to Snagit) a run for their money.
Is Camtasia good for Games too..?
@rio, i must die, i cant figure out, how to capture the screen in jpg format, like we used to do by prtscn button. Where is the option?? I can only record videos 
That was my first post - CamStudio is only for screen recording, it’s not a screen capture utility For screen capture, I use the trusted print screen key and save as .png using mspaint 
LOL, okey, anyways, this is also a useful soft. 
It was just a small misunderstanding, so suicide canceled 
fraps works only in 3-d mode and it rapes the comp when u start video recording… well atleast mine
