This link has never been easy to find so I’m glad I saved/found it. About how good CA is, well, I’ve never had any issues for well over a year and it’s been running on two computers.

I’ve used the E-Trust AV made by CA. It comes preloaded (almost free) on HCL systems. and its decently good. Haven’t had any issues with it, so far.
Umm dude, this is the AV used by Microsoft in their offices 
Should I say lay off the dope? Over 90% of the fortune 500 companies use eTrust/CA (that includes Microsoft, ty Anish).
And for the record, not a single infection for close to 2 years now… maybe you should stick to NIS, you’ll love it.
