Yeah because 521 has AMD Athlon while in your budget C2D is best.

Thanks alot but 2 questions:

  1. If I go for the AMD one with similar configurations.. then would the price be same?
  2. Also if I don’t put in the 7300 gfx card… then can I add my own graphics card?

^^ Yes core 2 is better than amd 4200. If you don’t go for that puny 7300 LE,a PCIe X 16 slot becomes vacant and you save Rs.5K.So in that slot you can put in a graphics card of your choice.But trouble is if you put in a high end Gfx card you may also have to change the PSU and that may or maynot viod the warranty.So you have to talk to dell india about that.

Also… how would I work the TV Tuner in the PC? I have a Tata Sky connection? Also… will I get one of those cool Media Center Remotes?
Last thing… What about a 21 or 23 inch monitor instead of 20 inches?

What kind of tuner card does dell offer??Does it come with an IR blaster?? Since you are using Tata sky i think you will only be able to use your tuner card as a capture device…meaning you will only be able to view/record the channel you are currently watching on your tv.You won’t be able to record other channels or setup your computer to record other channels from the EPG. So the pvr function will be very limited. In other words every time you want to record a show,you will have to switch to the channel airing that show using the tata sky remote and then record it.

If you can buy a seperate gfx card that is not supplied by Dell then why not monitor?
But if Soulfire says its good the it must be…i havent tried any of them
