Dell Desktops

I am pretty sure that you can buy a online Dell Desktop and it will be shipped from the Gurgaon center? Also you can send it back to the Gurgaon place for repairs?

If all of the above is yes then…

Can you recommend which Dell PC to buy? Never mind customization. I will do that later. Just recommend me the best model for these things:

  1. Gaming
  2. Watching HD stuff I download from Torrents…
  3. Fast with Windows Vista

The comp should have all of these.

  1. Gaming

for this need…get the most expensive model they have with the most expensive GPU .. . . . . . else build yo own pc..

 dell india has absolutely no choice as far as gaming is concerned…better if you assemble…or else try to get a normal dell pc and buy the graphics card seperately…

p.s I looked at the dell website…obscene prices makes no sense unless you have a lot of cash to waste…

dell have a pretty good service network so i dont think you should have any worries about that .

Ok. Well I am planning to buy the graphics card seperately.

So which should I buy? Or should I go HP or Sony or Dell?

I just need a good computer from Sony, HP or Dell which can play TV well…?

I am planning to buy a graohics card seperately and add it in…

So which one would you people recommend?

I would say Dell is the best among Dell,HP and Sony

If you want to add a graphics card then you will also have to replace the power supply, branded pcs normally come 250-300 watt psus which would not be sufficient to run a decent graphics card and you lose your warranty if you add/remove any component from a branded pc, so if you want a gaming pc you should get it assembled.

And if you want HD then better go for a GOOD LCD.

I dont think Dell’s 19" support HD so you will have to buy from other brand or buy above 19 incher

plus if you put in the gpu separately you will lose your warranty then and there, plus a new GPU will also need a better power supply . i still suggest you look at the old thread and go in for a assembled pc .

^ i dont think this is true. last time dell used to allow you to replace components without losing warranty . warranty would only be waived if the additional component you added was the cause of failure. talk to dell and confirm again though

Nevermind that.

Can someone recommend me the best and fastest dekstops from Dell, HP or Sony.

Forget the gaming part of it. I just want a relaly ogod computer that can run Vista and be nice for watching movies/tv shows etc… also be fast enough to run loads of programs simultaneously.

fri$$in rip-off…i can understand a 10% premium for service, but this is ridiculous!

perhaps things woul be better when the local plant is up

they are giving thins way over price in 90k he does not even get home premium. i think vista home basic no use rather keep the xp media center or else atleast the home premium.

This is too expensive…how bout makeing the proc to E6400…?

I just need to know which is the best Dell desktop without configuration for under 80,000?

So? Anyone?

Meaning you want the best Dell comp which hasnt been customized by us and with default configuration?

LOL, then simply go search on the Dell website :stuck_out_tongue:
