Digicam - Canon IXUS 80 IS or Sony DSC W120

I was planning to buy a digicam for regular use. Need a point and shoot as I’m not a huge enthusiast.

I was planning to get either a Canon IXUS 80 IS or a Sony DSC W120.

My budget’s between 8 to 12 thousand. What would you guys recommend from the above 2 or any other brand/model and what are the prices of the above 2 cameras? Also if anyone has any idea, where in Kolkata should I buy it from?

Sorry but i have heard digit reviews are biased most of time…as they are paid for same..heard a year bak…so whts the scenario now??

I don’t trust Digit reviews much myself, but this model has rave reviews everywhere on the net. Its just that Sony DSC W120 seems to have very similar performance but is priced about 3000 lower.

Can someone confirm the competitive prices of both these models for me coz I am basing my opinion on online prices.
