Digital Camera for 7-9k

Hi,

Can you please suggest a good digital camera in the range of 7-9k. Needs to be at least 3 mega pixels with around 3x of optical zoom. Preferred brands include Canon and Nikkon.

Just to add to the above, I would prefer something that is light and thin (eg: Canon SD series) with memory card option. That is if the budget permits :slight_smile:

in my opinion the Kodak EasyShare C330 is better as its video recording is limited to memory & not to a 3 minutes per video time limit like Canon.

Go with Canon Powershot A420 . one of my cousins got A400 model and its really decent :slight_smile: . no body recommends Kodak not even my shopkeeper whom I paid a visit to , last week !! .

Kodaks are very good digicam makers. Many of them tops the ratings at Cnet.com. Not to mention Kodak holds the record of the smallest cam with 10x optical zoom n the worlds first dual lens cam. I m into digicam since 2.5 years n knows evrything about it. Dont be in a impression that kodaks are not good, they are great. Just google Kodak vs xxxxx n see for urself.

I have bought the Nikon 4600 for 9.5k (with an additional 256mb memory card). It was light, small and cute :slight_smile:
