m facing a prob with my pc
when i right click on my mouse or when i close a window,
my desktop icons along with my taskbar disappears for a while nd after 5 secs comes back
wats the prob???
i have scanned my PC for virus with kasper but found no threats…
plse guide me wat to do?
Whatz the OS??? boot on to safe mode n see if the same happens.
m using windows XP SP2
sounds like an infected explorer.exe
same claim here…check ur Pc with ESET NOD 32 or Zone Alarm…No Anti virus is perfect…
What’s your CPU, RAM and GPU specs?

Lolz.. Yeah, hw does that affect w.r.t disappearing icons? :S
Feast ur system to a proper antivirus s/w like the NOD32/Avira/Avast 4.8. 
Might seem like a crazy suggestion but when something like this happens i generally create a new User account and see if the problem exists there :|, You might want to give it a shot
try doing a system restore.. if the system is not infected..
I was just asking whether he had a slow system or not… 
Earlier my icons on desktop used to disappear too when I had 128 MB RAM and had many programs running in the background!!!
And how do you know it is a virus that is doing that? It may be due to corrupt system files… :no:
