There are few nice docs in Guides and Tutorials section. Some of them good enough to download and keep as a document. Can Safina try any hack for that section so that users can download it as a document (may be pdf, may be word) ?
P.S Before someone gives me that brilliant crap, i just want to say that i know how to save as html 
You can go to FILE —> SAVE AS and save the pages. It will be saved as a .html page, but it isnt too complicated. Just make a new folder and label it “Whatever guide you want to save” and save all the html files in that folder !! SImple.
If you are using firefox, you can also save each page as a frame.

IIRC this was asked before and denied for the reason that the whole purpose of forum goes out of window with this facility.
I am not exactly against this but even though this is public forum, the content is property of TE. Also the articles and guides are properties of the person who has written them. And I dont think admins can simply allow every article / guide / review to be downloaded without having permission of the user as per the copyright laws.
I know it sounds stupid but what if someone takes objection to this tomorrow??

If thats the case then “Show printable version” has to be disabled and also many things such as save, etc. Anyways, i honestly think not having the download option just for those reasons is totally lame. will wait and see for an official explanation
see anyone can save them as html or print whatever is on the screen. Noone can stop that. But providing option to download for offline viewing and making digital copies available to download might put TE in some legal dilemma. Maybe some lawyers on TE can shade light on this
There must be a good reason why this practice is not observed on online forums.
ANd BTW printable version shows web graphic free version but its not just article. Its entire thread…
Personally i prefer bookmarking only. Works for me as I have quiet reliable internet connection now.
