I am looking for a new phone to replace my K700i and I need one that has EDGE.
Any suggestions? Budget 20K or less, but can go up if needed.
I would like to stick to SE phones, but don’t mind Nokias.
Please help.
all n series r edge enabled. 6630, 6681, 6233, 5700 .now its your decision how much money u r going to put into.
Get the n73 me…its got edge n 3g..if it has to SE then get the k790i…n73me is around 17k n k790i around 16k…
Or the K850i if you can wait a bit

Well with Edge, you get around 8-9KBPS download speed while with GPRS its 3-4KBPS, atleast in Delhi.
So while the jump might not be much, it does make somewhat of a difference…
Its like going from a dialup to a 64kbps DSL plan…
BSNL, in West Bengal - very good speeds too.
in kolkata airtel has edge support. previusly i used my 6630 for net i used to get 17-20kbps download
Go for W810i…for the price 12300 it is a good bet…also a walkman phone
