Yet he maintains that the memory stick is genuine, but he has no bill/packaging/proof for the same.
The memory Stick does not work with my Sony DSC-S650, but works just fine in my Sony DSC-P73, and in my Laptop Card reader, whereas Original Sandisk 4Gb MSPD works just fine in the S650, also, Sony website states that the Stick is fully compatible with the camera. Though I intend to use the memory stick only for my DSC-P73, yet it is not what I intented to purchase.
The seller refuses a full refund, saying it’s genuine and he has spent the money elsewhere.
Side Note: I do not have the MSPD in my had right now, it’s lying locked up in my hostel room in Delhi while I’m in kolkata. The pics are in the two threads, and the benchmarks are also already posted.
This is wierd, I thought it was common knowledge that the card was not original MSPD, but a duplicate that works really well…atleast for people who had read that thread…
Maybe you too can work something out…post the card back in the market section or something..
u can still check and tell me its not genuine for all u care, for all i know its genuine coz i bought it with the box had the thermal seal
also see the benchmarks in the link above and what i have posted , tell me that they FAKED that too, also he forgot 2 mention that the card works fine in his one cam and his laptop reader AND that the cam which is givin a problem i googled it up and showed him that lots of people are having trouble with that cam + genuine cards.
still u sit and argue about the card, hasnt it ever occured to u the cam could have compatibility issues ? go google and figure
i guess its a stroke of luck i got a genuine card, there is still warranty on it which i can help you out with, 5 months of it, so what are you crying about?
d00d i can go on n on about this, i didnt cheat u in any way infact i even offered u one whole week to test it and if unhappy return it to me , you didnt
I promptly mentioned where it’s working and where it’s not.
The google shows only one-two such issues, where again it is more likely that they are using fake cards (as I am) rather than Sony producing incompatible products, and then saying on their website that they are “tested” compatible by them.
