I have one admin user and one guest user in my XP system.. i forgot my admin password..for the past one week i have been trying to retrive my admin password but could not succed. Can any one tell some ways to extract the admin password from registry.

I have got my password cleared. Is there any ways where i could find my password in registry with out using any third party softwares
I think the password is in SAM file, but it is encrypted, so it is hard to break. There are algorithms to read SAM file and extract passwords from it, but i feel that it would be illegal to discuss it all here.
l0phtcrack, SamInside blah blah but it is all brute forcing so strong password then more than 5000 years lol

I really suppose the thing that will help you is a tool called Active@ password changer. It is a small yet really powerful and quick utility that can reset forgotten password. It really worked for me, so you should give it a try too. that will definately help.
