why is this one more expensive than other available routers in the market as even brand new ones cost around 2200 rupeeslike the dlink one,please let me know if it has wider area coverage than the 2.2kones or how is it superior to other routers available in the market.

first of all it support Data transfer rate 108 Mbps 2.2k router does not

It has rich set of feature as mentioned & it is NETGEAR

Good luck selling it. A new WGT624 is 2.5k in bangalore. The older wgr614 is 1900 bucks :P.

ROFL , MR geeky always wants to sell non warranty stuffs at prices higher than market price lol :P. Anyway the netgear is available in Golcha , SP Road for 2.5k…in fact it is available for last 2-3 months at same price.

Even on eBay its 3.4k and generally prices are about 500-800 lwoer than that

He picked the WGR614 for 1.9 K and BTW the WGR624 was 2450/-

Additionally

Netgear networking prodcuts tend to be the cheapest..not that they are bad..they are great VFM, but like I said, for comparable products, pricing wise, Linksys >D-Link > Netgear

I merely wish to point out that a seller may put whatever (atrocious/reasonable) price to his product and may get away with that BUT if someone inquires the price of a new product, like Viking did above, then there’s nothing wrong in some member posting the latest price. Its not thread crapping as I see it so stop cribbing about it.

Argus you are correct, its not just a usual market place, where the seller will try to take advantage of the ignorance of the buyer, here if anyone finds that the price of the product on sale is higher /lower they can tell for the knowledge of the other users of the thread. It should be healthy. That is what is the purpose of having these kind of forums, I hope. If people don’t want to be told anything, then they can try sites like ebay.

thanks all u guys for ur gyaan ,howsoever i was wondering , what was so specal about this router , as i got a dlink 5 months back for 2.3k , brand new, sorry geeky if it would have been a good deal i surey would have purchased it., howsoever please dont misguide people on brand new prices as u did to me, just say u dont know, if u have half or improper knowledge as supplying wrong information tantamounts to cheating.
