this is not to lowball or anything, please check that i have been interested in this cooler for quite a few months now, but why wud i buy a 5-6 months used cooler for Rs. 1050 when the new one is available for Rs.1100? and that too with thermalright reputation which kinda seems like it rusts from sides(though i know that doesnt effect its cooling efficiency).
That’s a very generic statement… the corroding depends on many factors including where you live. Re cost, I believe it’s available for 1150 at Prime but is it in stock always? This is ready to ship, and if you are truly interested, make me an offer, don’t hang around this thread trying to justify why you should buy a new one… just buy the new one then!

Its made out of aluminium there is no way it can rust, and this not mumbai where the humidity is way soo high
I have seen TRUE and the HR03, yet to see corrosion on HR03(its on my friends system and have been just about 1 month) but the TRUE has the rust/corrosion effect after only about 2-3 months of usage and I am talking about Delhi where you rightly said there is no humidity.

As well, I’m ready to throw in a 3gm tube of Hsin San Y-500 thermal compound for an extra 150 bucks. It works better than AS5 on chipsets and is easy to cleanup - similar to MX-2. I haven’t used Y-500 on CPU’s but it has a pretty good reputation in holding it’s own against AS5.
Is this HS compatible with P5B-dlx ??.. its not there in the list :S
