gmail.com passport not working with MSN Messenger

Can’t login with my ******@gmail.com windows live passport … just started yesterday … was working fine before that … What’s the problem ?

Are you able to login to Live messenger? If not, could be a password issue… passport sometimes acts weird when you have complicated passwords like: g4YPa5sW0Rd

Ok, Msn messenger is vital for my existence. I’ve tried the following-

MSN 5,6.2,7,7.5,8beta,8

Trillian

Meebo.com

ebuddy.com

Hotmail id works on all of them. Gmail doesn’t.

Urghh ! Can’t even import my contact list. Wish I had it saved somewhere. Stupid friggin Microsoft !

Try using Google Talk, Search google on how to import your yahoo, live n hotmail contacts in gtalk.

you have to change the password every 45 days as per msn..it could definately be a pass issue . check and try to login at the MSN website and if it works , it works .

It worked for him the next day… so passport was acting up I guess, or he was typing it wrong
