drives will manage but it can be lowered. Add a fan in front of the drives. will reduce 10 - 15 C
Ok Just Try Nd Revert
well i have cheiftec cabinet and i have added 2 silent fans close to HDD bay.
now my temps are -
320GB - 31
320GB - 30
500GB - 29
try that man…
hmm… my cabby does not have front fan option near hdd… can adding a hdd fan would help… at the moment only only hdd resides in the cabby..
58 is very high you may damage the drives
ive read somewhere that drives last longer and are efficient between the temp 60-70deg. so i think 57deg is normal.
get a fan dude.
mine remains in 35-39*C range
:bshit: , Seriously man think it over once before you post utter rubbish.
Given this time of the year its way too high..if cant add fans anytime soon, atleast openup the side panel buddy else ur drives at great risk.
