So far I have had to RMA my Seagate HDD and my experience was very good. Got a replacement drive in 4 days.. getting 160 gig for 120 was an added bonus..
Saw the Samsung site, it gives info on 5 yr. warranty is the 5 yr. warranty still in focus in new sales or not? Here dealers are giving conflicting stuff. Some people say 5 yr. warranty is still there but some say it’s bak to 3 yr. warranty. Who’s true?
Easy way to find out is to enter your hard drive part no on the online warranty check page. Do you have one or are planning to buy one?
