Hi,

What is Lightscribe Technology?

Do i have to use some special CD’s for using this feature. if yes, then where can i get them. Are DVD’s also available for this purpose ?

Which all DVD writers support Lightscribe technology.

Lightscribe technology enables you to burn labels directly on to the disc. For this you will need Lightscribe enabled drives and Lightscribe media and a software which supports Lightscribe writing.

So we need to have a special CD/DVD media on which we can burn the labels using a writer supporting this tech.

Can u please tell me how much does the media and writer cost.

There are some benq and lite-on models available with lightscribe. Don’t know the exact model/price. You can check at NP or wait for someone to answer.

Could anybody else tell the prices currently going on in the market for Lightscribe DVD writers and Lightscribe DVD’s or CD’s.
