How do I Remove keyboard of my Acer Aspire 5672 laptop ?
The technical support people say if I can change the keyboard myself, then they’ll simply ship me a new keyboard which I would have to change myself. Otherwise, I will have to send them the laptop which is a lot of hassle and the shipping would suck

removing the keyboard on most laptops involves prying off the top thin strip just above keyboard (the are where the power button is)…you’ll find two screws just under that panel which hold the keyboard in place…once you take off the screwa, the keyboard can be lifted up revealing a ribbon connector b/w the keyboard and the mobo…
slide off the ribbon cable and you are done…
