I need to buy a cheap tv tuner card (preferably internal) for my sisters rig
Budget is around 1-1.5k.
My sisters rig is a bit old but still can manage running vista so i need a tv tuner card that will run on vista without problem
FM radio is not mandatory but will be an added bonus.
I can get some intex and frontech cards in that price range but not sure whether they are vista compatiable as nothing is written in their website in this regard.
Plz help.
Pinnacle will work… but recording might be slow/not possible on low end hardware.

i heard that leadtek has a good tvtuner for 2.5k which supports vista…does anyone know about it…which model…???
You could get the pinnacle 110i for around 2.5k odd

So pinnacle is out of contention !!!
I’ve found the price of Compro TV FM PVR to be around 1.8k but I cant find it in kolkata.
Can anybody help me to find this one as it seems very good !!!

p.s.s thisi s the leadtek 10bbit card , seems like the one to go for, other cards are 8bit or 9 bit Leadtek - We make dreams a reality
see on the left in the leadtek menu, they have quite a choice including pci express tv tuners too can anybody get a pricing on these , i think somebody on the forum organised a GO for leadtek gfx cards , maybe we can have a go for the tv tuners too ?
