If you were to pick one amongst the following HSF's

Help me decide ONE amongst these THREE

Thermalright HR 01 $37

Zalman CNPS7000B $35

Thermalright SI-120 $46

I need one for quiet operation and not for massive overclocking… Remember i need something QUIET

Why isnt Ninja on the list?

Cause its not available on Sidewinders :P…

get the si120
mass order kya? I can join? :stuck_out_tongue:

Since you want Noiseless, HR-01. Since its fanless.

But it depends on your Case air flow a lot!

I use a SLB and a DFI… And i am also leaning towards HR 01… And sandy ofcourse you are in along with Blade who is watching this thread and will be posting as i type ;)…

Thermalright SI-120

But Switch, id say get 2 better Fans for your Case too.

I dont like the 40 - 60CFM SLB Fans.

Well i will be ordering some other stuff too… But the point of discussion as of now is which HSF…

HR-01.** Quiet as a mouse. A dead one that is.** :stuck_out_tongue:

Lol, where did i read that?

imho the si120 is much better
lighter too :stuck_out_tongue:

For Silent operation get the TT BT …it has a very quiet fan. 16db at 56cfm, practically inaudible from say 2ft from the m/c, adequate for ur self acclaimed modest overclocking needs.

BTW…you must try a 120mm TT silent wheel fan (The ones with orange coloured fins) on ur SLB (Rear Exhaust)…especially in conjunction with the matching TT BT fan …
i know this bcuz i had a SLB once and you would not believe the stuff i had purchased to equip it properly…

SI 120 + Nexus/Globe fan = The lowest decibels you can get with great cooling. If you can’t get the nexus, get a panaflo L1A.

First Gustaakhi Maaf as me still noob!!

Secondly, as you will be getting a new HS/HSF anyways, makes sense to get the top performers, with low noise, good cfm fans!!
Get the Silverstone FM121 or TT smart blue 120- both come with controllers!!
So you can maintain noise/performance as per requirement!!
(Else get a fan controller or rheobus with ccfl inverter!!)

My list- (1)TtBT with stock Fan/low noise 50-60cfm fan of choice!!
(2) Ninja with any good low noise fan!!

Since sidewinders only- Get the SI 120 and the TT smartblue fan!!
The medium speed recommended panaflo should be good too if u don’t want flash!!

Silent fans but no controller bundled- Tt silent wheel , Tt silent cat 120!!
(only drawback- single sided and newegg only i think!!)

My current favourite Budget cooler- Freezer 64 pro>
** check this>** http://www.arctic-cooling.com/cpu2.php?idx=80&disc

And This> http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/arcofr64pro.html

very good value for money as 34.99$+shipping on Newegg but…
26.95$+shipping on sidewinders!!

And do let me know if you can get me something too, Please!!:cool2:

Sure Bikey… I will be sending you a PM before i order…

SI-120…but go for the xp-90c dude :stuck_out_tongue:
