ive had one problem after another on this sodding pc and now when i turn on the pc i get a message saying 'Invalid BOOT.INI file.
What does it mean and what can i do about it???

To repair this you need to have the Windows XP reinstallation disc.
Boot from the Windows XP disc, select R at the first screen to go to the recovery console.
Type bootcfg /rebuild.
