arent these the FPS oem models ? the FX600-GLN and FX700-GLN ?

Is this what’s going to be available soon?? If so how much and how soon? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Me wants one..

In India… dunno… but I saw this in another forum and they mentioned price for the 600w as given under … some more comments from that thread…

ZipZoomFly is selling the 600 watt GameXStream for a very reasonable $139 (currently on back order)

FYI: a rep from OCZ stated on another forum that OCZ is currently working on another premium PSU unit called the “Elitestream”…but this is awhile away from being released…Elitestream is planned at 850W and higher, the issue of how high is under debate and the only reason for going to 1000 Watt was to help the P4 CPU and huge overclocks, but with Conroe coming this may not be needed now

there is also a fully modular PSU coming called the EvoStream…it will be available in 600 and 700 watt versions and is said to be very efficient.

@joess … so the 700w would be the same as Karan’s FSP FX700-GLN in his super review here… nice to know… thanks…

Funny thing is noone really needs more than 500w but we’re all going out and buying 600/700w PSU’s… seriously, if you’re not running SLI/Xfire systems, you don’t need >500w – hell, even if you add a sophisticated watercooling setup with a 12v pump you don’t need >500w

Merged threads.

Rather just get the FSP OEM’s.

Its the dot same thing, and will be for Cheaper as well.
