market : why restriction on WTB?

I understand the restriction on new members for “For Sale” threads. You do not trust them enough that they will not defraud the forum members.

What harm can a “Want to Buy” person do? I just want to pickup an item from my own city, not even a fraudable activity. I hope to see the item with my eyes, preferably in a working state, and the seller can see the notes, original from RBI. No pirated notes

Can somebody else post it for me? I’ll PM my message to him/her.

thanks
Bingo

there are certain rules and they will have to be followed. its the rule of the land, whther its right, wrong or unfair.

Yup!!!
Without rules, the world would be like a ‘River’ without banks…
God knows where it would flow…

can someone post for me?

at the moment we can restrict the posting in that section. There is no way to discriminate FS / WTB posts. If that is to be done, a new hack will be needed for VB and it will take time as admins are very busy.

That is the reason access to the market is restricted for all.

Post around a bit mate, get to know the community, it isn’t that hard, you’ll be rewarded with Market access soon enough

True. The game as it seems to me is this :
Post many "Hello"s, "I agree"s, "I disagree"s etc. and hope nobody reps you to negative. Then you post.

I am yet to understand the concept of rep. It might be the short form of report, but I am not sure. Need to read up.

thanks guys

PS:
I guess the above post of mine could easily have been split into 3 to reach my threshold quickly, but I hate to be a bore.

^ Rep is “Reputation”. Its given to you when you post something that enlightens or benefits the community.

And no, I don’t mean Hellos, and Good-days, I mean useful stuff in the tech sections

That is good. BTW a rep is the short for “Reputation” and not reporting. Also, no one on the board (except the mods/admins) can -ve rep you as -ve reps are disabled (although that does not give a free spamming license though  )

well 1 advice stay away from general talk  and stick to other sections…

4-10 posts a day will kick the trouble away and in no time u will get addicted to tech forums… Like me… half work and half forums in office
