Well as the topic says , I wanna know the list of mobos legally, ie buy them, exploit them and if anything goes bad RMA them.
few I know are :
1.ASUS
2.MSI (Only few models available)
3.Intel (No OC options!!!)
4. ASRock (Their mobo’s r bad at OC)
5. GIGABYTE (Only few models available)
I don’t know about any else
Please do update teh list.
I don’t think ABit, EPoX and DFI are legally available in INdia

If u know any retailer of Abit or Epox or Dfi plz post up their tel no
No Abit and Dfi here AFAIK
But Dfi might come here Freaky is trying.
Lets hope Dfi come here.
Check here:- http://www.techenclave.com/forums/showpost.php?p=56518&postcount=55
and please dont opt for Asrock…opt for them only if u have a very low budget otherwise, just scrap that name from the list..other similar brands include mercury or krypton…I guess Foxconn is avlble in India…
Best of luck for ur endeavour (IIT)… :cool2:
Add foxconn, HIS, Winfast, powercolor or TUL.

Winfast is same as foxconn right? Leadtek also retails the same boards i guess.
Well Leadtek was into Mobo business, they sold it to FoxConn. At the same time the Name -“Winfast” went to FoxConn. So now FoxConn sells mobos in the name of FoxConn Winfast.
^^ thanks for the correction !
yeah foxconn ones are god mobo’s & i must say very decently priced… just the price i wanted for NF4 mobos to be available on
aren’t lower gigabyte mobos in india crap , worse than mercury?
also, try to get warranty and good replacement/replair servie preferably within the same city
consider asus
which mobo do you want as sometimes msi is better

Wait for DFI Rahul. Most likely that DFI will come to India. Will update the status of TheITDepot this weekend.

Foxconn has a contract with intel to make their “intel original boards” atleast most of them anyway. Very stable boards!
I guess FIC was one of the four contractors for Intel, others being Asus, some unknown company, damn i remember only 3
Bottmline is i dont recollect Foxconn providing boards to Intel,or do they ?

i know , dell used to source their motherboards from foxconn (maybe they still do) . wouldnt be surprised to know that they make intel boards as well
ECS is one major that manufactures OEM boards. AFAIK ECS is the second best when it comes to volume manufactured only after ASUS.
