MSOCache folder...

eh..
i haev office 2007 enterprise edition installed.. jus installed word n excel from em…
i have d downloaded copy on a cd..
cud someone tell me
wht the msocache folder is for..i googled it …found tht it has installation related temp files.
comes arnd some 600mb..
can i delete the folder..??
eating up space unnecessarily :S

Delete the installation files by running Disk Cleanup.

i had checked that page too bfore posting here..
says i shud find " office setup files" in the files to delete list after openin disk cleanup..but i cant find tht item..
there s only microsoft office temp files.. tht comes arnd 67kb.. :S
and.. the m$ support site says i shudnt delete the folder directly..
help..

Try deleting the folder, if you find something unusual while running office, you can always uninstall office and reinstall it, and choose while running setup.

check the OS drive… in my case i found it there..and as u mst be knowing its hidden…

i always delete that folder after installing the ms office..no problem watsoever..:stuck_out_tongue:
