I use this, its the current state of the art on a PC. In comparison Amarok is a few yrs behind. It’s got imitators like this and this. if you look a little bit deeper you see they are about as advanced as Amarok. When you get sick of the limitations of your current free player then you look for better
Its not as lean as FB2k but then again, its a hell of a lot easier to use. FB2k is fine as a reference player or for very specialised tasks, anything more hmmm. I don’t need yet another player, i need a media management system.
I only use 20% of what JRivers MC offers, i have been searching for years for a lighter app that can do what it can, thinking this shit can’t be that hard to do, but have yet to find anything remotely as powerful. Its closest competitor that i could find (not free again) is this. Toss up between the two.
