Need price of 1GB DDR400

Hey guys,just found why my PC was shutting down during gaming.It was a bad 512 stick.Anyways what do you guys suggest sell both 512 sticks and get two 1GB sticks or just get a new 512 stick to replace the damaged one.
Also need the price :blush:

To replace the 512mb damaged stick with a new one you will have to check that the frequency & timings of the new stick matches the old one to run properly. Otherwise for better performance you could buy two 1gb sticks. 1gb ddr400mhz ram costs appro rs 3400-3500.

i can give you 2 1gb Twinmos sticks for 2250/- each with over 21 months of warranty remaining.

or upgrade ur entire system to DDR2 :slight_smile:

i got 2 GB transcend for ~7k 1 month back … asked yesterday prices again and it was 3000+tax for ordinary ram and 3300+tax for transcend (as told by the dealer dunno wat he meant by ordinary ram)

Is DDR1 actually more expensive than DDR2 ???

yep, current prices of DDR2 are half that of DDR1

DDR is being phased out of production and all plants switching to DDR2
