would be nice if they did include a all copper one. from the past pics of neha setups they were still the ALU cooler.
or is it because its gonna be hottt ;).
copper vs ALU not that big of a difference… copper will absorb the heat faster then ALU but ALU with disappate faster. plus vs ALU you gain weight with copper for the same size heatsink. the TDP of Neha as far as leaked tables show 120watt.
^^ it’s confirmed 130W
does that indicate, its gonna run like a furnace? Chipzilla ain’t been that generous since the highest end P3 coppermine days.
I Wonder… but it also could mean, Intel is just trying to get more efficient cooling. Or even more hip? I mean look at that thing. All Copper, Translucent fan. Remove that Intel label from fan and anyone will think it’s some nice aftermarket cooler. Who knows maybe they’ll even put some LED love on that thing.
Just saw the pictures from TechConnect.. Looks like it’s not all copper. Maybe Copper + ALU, or even partly Copper coated?
might be, but as far as we’ve seen chipzilla, they’ve always been very unkind in this segment, at times donright rubbish (recall the horrible hsf of the dreaded prescotts). We’ll have to wait till the final products are out and gone thru a reviewers knife.
the pics seem to indicate at an alu+copper colored(could be copper or jus copper colored alu) hs
