Ok cool job on the new design and layout.. However i do feel that this layout sucks big time!
the forums main pain page is soo cluttered up and small and makes it rather hard to actually read anything :@
maybe one of the big guys should actually try viewing the site at 1680x1050

want the old design back!! or alteast make it exapand or something.. i cant read a thing even with my glasses on :@
I agree, new one is bit worse than old. Just a bit too wide in my opinion. And top looks too amateur type.
Its just that its not scaling like old version used to. Its staying centered, making it little difficult to read threads from little distance away.
Here is how it look @ 1680x1050.
If anything can be done, will be appericiated.
Here is quick pic taken from my phone. This will give idea whats happening.

I still use 800x600 reso, and old ver just used to fit perfectly. This is a big wider

I think the design is cleaner. I like it. The blue band on top looks off though, maybe a softer colour would look more consistent with the overall design.

Messed up layout… looks absolutely atrocious on widescreen. More than half of the screen space is wasted. I want the old layout back :(.

I have a problem with my eyes so I use a large font - this seems to cut some text in half in the new layout like so …
This is just perfect for 1024 X 768
Yeah, perfect for 1024, but completely useless for anything else
Where is the member list it is missing in the new theme

do we have an option to choose old theme?
Why dont you give an option ?? Instead of forcing it down everyone’s throats…
I think other styles will be there in short time. Thats what the announcement says anyway.
Hope the issue is fixed as it is really bad for high resolution users.

how about reading the announcements.
the same question is being answered time and again.
Yeah, considering we have users ranging from 800x600 to 1900x1200, a fluid design is a must.

i would realy appreciate if you make the site Ws compatible…see the attachment in post#3 to see how much screen real estate is wasted.
It would be nice if the site scale to the screen width…
