I somehow did not like new design. “About this page” is completely redundant and does not provide any additional information and just adds to cluttering of page.
My 2 cents!
The so called cluttering of page is a very important SEO technique to get keywords into google.
The About the Page presents search spiders the main keywords it can expect to find on that page.
Same for the h1 tag header showing thread title. Yes it looks rather pointless but TE is a site that depends only on search traffic to get members and that is something we have to do.
And before someone asks, i will clarify, no we cannot hide anything from members and show to search engines. Thats called cloaking.

the site looks best on 1024 resolution at home.. here in my office its 800 looks a bit stuffy but still i can browse smoothly…

Silver and Blue style(old) suitable for 800X600 resolution are now available for selection in usercp->edit options.

for me it looks good at 1280x1024… on my 2nd monitor @ 1024x768 it looks a little crowded especially the main forum page. Nice clean design, and easy to navigate once I got used to the changes.

One more request.
Earlier while browsing without signing into TE, we had the sign-in box visible on every page.
so if while browsing i feel like posting/replying, i could sign-in and be directed back to the same thread.
Now in the default style when not signed in, i don’t see that and using the login link at the top takes me back to the main index page.
Is it just me or is there some glitch here?:S

just tested the login link and it works fine for me.
About having the form on all pages, umm not possible on this style. there is no space
