New MSN headache, automated spam!!

I am actually fed up with problem.

As many of you already know, some online services offer list of people who have banned / deleted you from their msn list and many other things. For that you log into their website using your msn id and pass. But many people dont realise that this info is used to spam people in their MSN contact list with stupid links.

Some such sites offer you option to opt out of this ( by default the check box is clicked to allow such things, you have to deselect it ). But many dont bother and honestly I am getting soo tired of this BS that I am planning to quit MSN messenger because of this.

There are over 300 contacts in my msn list and I get daily 20-30 such messages from guys in my contact list.

Just shows how inconsiderate people have become over net that they dont even realize they are disturbing others for no reason :@ :@

hmmm i started getting such spams from one contact (with links like .info) and sent him an email asking to check for trojans/viruses and hoping he didnt enter his MSN info on wierd sites in the first place…

Block those contacts… I had to block zhops and Preetham lol.

Yup Zhops has that. I think the best bet for somebody infected is to nicely make a note of all his contact, create a new ID and add them back.

Can be a daunting task, but it has to be done.

It’s simpler than that, just export/import them.

i never use msn message i switch u yahoo and g-talk past 4 year wihout any problem :stuck_out_tongue:
