Please Suggest a good VFM Region Free upscaling DVD player…
No specific budget…Ofcourse, the cheaper the better…
Ideal, if available in India…Dad is going to Germany on a business trip and I may consider getting it from there…but getting it from India is my preference.

anyways if ur still interested i saw a toshiba hd dvd player goin for $130 wit 7 free movies.. but has to be bought in us..
In india ud hav 2 settle wit upconverting players, even those will be more expensiv. u could the philips dvp5986 or 5965 (whch ever is available )for about 5k..
other option pioneer 1080p upconverting player (saw this in the market an looked good) @ 7k …
also have sony ones for 4.5-5k.. though they dont hav usb ports..
I got the Xbox 360 HD-DVD Drive man… Seen loads of HD movies and now its in market for sale…I am now looking for Region Free upscaling DVD player…
well.. i believe the philips is region free.. atleast mines played all the videos iv thrown at it until now.. (got a couple of dvds from us, one from uk, rest bought in india, + cheapass disks from cd wala an movies ripped from comp)
anyways if im correct all players can now days be made region free, the shopwalla u buy from can do it for u if its not all ready region free..
well almost every player out there can be made region free. Philips which might come region locked can be unlocked from the menu by entering unlock code which are available freely on the internet. Just google for model + unlock.
