Pls suggest a video editor !

Hi all I am looking for a video editot, FREEWARE

I will be mainly using it to edit video recorded by my handycam, ie mpeg format , 1024*568 resolution

I need the following functions

filters like saturation, and sharpness
trimming and seamless joining

other functions are welcome but not neccessary

Any suggestion is welcome

VirtualDub can do those things iirc.

I second VirtualDub. If you need a free tool with good GUI then use Windows Movie Maker, after editing convert the final product to your desired video format using any of the tons of free converters available.
