Has anyone looked at ixigo.com , one of the best sites/user interface wise, it find rates directly from the carrier sites, pretty neat.
Expedia helps for international tickets. I never buy from there though.
this turns out to be expensive these days. By upto 500-600 bucks many times on prime time tickets on Jet, kingfisher.
I used to go through agents before. But these days there is really no need. I havent seen too many complains with online booking. Sure there will be a glitch now and then but overall this is the best option right now for people. Convenient, fast and independent.
Search flight times according to my travel plan from the airline booking site and book direct from the airline website 
That works for me. So i would say option 11
