so far the best price 4750 by rajshree computers..its opposite pc guide..mumbai

got all prices lower except 4gb pen drive..which he quoted 1800 whereas prime offered 1725…but he was much happy in stating to go for lappy drive plus case…as in 2800 with case ull get 40gb and have much more space…3500 for 80gb..but i guess with transcend case it would had been much better
also got kingston ram for 1750 buks…
Now the underground news…while i was in his shop..he has got a problem one asus brand new board..and he was lashing the rashi guy on phone…according to him digicomp are replacing with new board in 2-3 days..whereas rashi service has gone much fuk all…he was bashing that guy on phone…so better get an asus board with digicomp service centre now…lol

regarding lamington just get at grant road station and asked any road side thela wala way to lamington…ull get there easily..regarding reaching the shop…jus try to locate pc guide..its more easy..jus around police station…and the shop is exactly opposite

Which casing would you guys recommend to go with the HDD.

So I went to rajshree and he told me 4900. He said he quoted 4900 to my friend yesterday. Anyway he finally got ready at 4800. He didnt get any cut coz he showed me the bill from where he himself got the HDD which itself was 4800.
Prime came down to 4825 when I told him that I am getting 4750 elsewhere.
PC guide 4950 and several other shops also 4950.
Transcend casing wasnt available everywhere. Only at prime and some other shop two blocks from rajshree. I got a quote of 1950 and 1800. So I bought from prime.
Anyway right now I am royally pissed. Coz the casing accessories is missing the power adaptor (the power cable is there). Now I will have to take another journey in this wretched place tomorrow just for that piece of shit.
Post pics of the casing or link me to a site… bad that you got the incomplete kit but in a sense good also cause you didnt check the damm box on the shop itself… Wasnt the pack sealed…

i m confused…u only need the usb connecter wire na to connect(jus like pen drive or mobile via wire connected to pc)..or need the above power cables too to power that hdd in casing???
^^ you need to power the HDD externally, with the adapter and cable provided with the casing. (2.5" HDDs need not be powered externally)
yep u need an external smps to power the 3.5 hdd’s which take around 12W of power…not provided by USB (arnd 5W Max)
