HI .. Can anyone let me know the procedure for WD hdd replacement as one of my wd hard drive was DOA and needs to be replaced.

  1. Get to the support website - WD Support > Warranty Services > Warranty Services for End Users

  2. File the RMA.

They took about three days from the phone request to arrange for pickup. Hopefully I’ll get my drive in a couple of weeks.

I recently RMA’d a WD hdd. The whole process went very smoothly. Call them on 1-800-11-9393 and gererate a RMA request. Within a day or two the hdd will be picked up from your place and within 8-10 working days you will get a replacement.
