PSP Firmware 4.01 m33-2

so who all upgraded to 4.01 m33-2?? me will be updating as soon as I go home…

I think I’ll stick to 3.90 m33-3… until some new and useful features are added

Are there any real benefits of the new version??

Read a while ago that sony would put in the XVID support..by FW4..but can’t find that anywhere in updates…but anyways..its been long…so will update just for the sake of it…

the thread title shud be a bit descriptive…

PS: no offence

i’ve moved to the new version although it doesn’t have any real benefit right off the bat.. dark alex has said he will be adding save state in an update to this version and that’s what i’m really waiting for.

also, all 4.xx homebrew will run off a single folder instead of different folders for every new release upto now. not a big deal but it saves some time in having to redirect your homebrew everytime you upgrade.

can i directly update to the latest firmware from 3.80 m33-5 through the network update option?

you should be able to… i dont remember exactly when dark alex added the network update functionality to m33 cfw. check your recovery menu and see where the update points to… if it goes to dark-alex.org then you should be fine.

Hey… can u gimme some insight on this Homebrew stuff? Does homebrew stuff work on all M33 firmwares?? Where can I get Homebrew stuff for 3.90 M33-3??

I got some stuff like the PRX Music Plugin and Fusa… but I can’t seem to make it work :frowning:

what is the thread bout?

PSP firmware  :stuck_out_tongue:

omg… lolz… sorry for being ignorant :stuck_out_tongue:

try psp-hacks.com or pspupdates.qj.net or consolespot.net to get started on homebrew. the forums at these sites are usually a great place to get info about the various kinds of homebrew available.

Currently I just want the ‘3.90M33 Music Plugin’ … can you tell me how to install it??
