Hey my friend is getting a used 6800GT 128MB for 2.4K .. i have a few questions ..
Will the 128MB act as a bottleneck in newer games, or older but Vmem intensive games like Stalker ?
Between it and a 7300GT 256MB which will perform better ?
6800GT 128mb performs better as its got 256-bit memory bandwidth
6XXX series is outdated. But still 6800GT will perform better than 7300GT 256MB. No questions about it. Though none of them can effectively play contemporary games beyond low settings@800X600
N is it worth buying the card for 2.4K .. its an AGP card ..
U sure Stalker n Crysis will run properly on it at medium settings ?

it will be around 3.5k but will perform 2 times better than that 6800gt
Stalker may be but Crysis is a tough chance. Look buddy, the point is that these cards don’t support newer technologies like shader and openGL models and HDR lighting etc and it hampers their performance. The card has not been outperformed but outdated. If you run old games like Half Life on 8800GT or 6800GT, the performance will be same.
So there is this distinction between being outperformed and outdated. Understand that.
If your budget is only 2K you can go for the card. Though I suggest don’t buy it for more than 2K and that too only if you are in need of an AGP card.

^^ I doubt, but again high settings is a very loose term, some ppl will turn off eye candy and enable AA as they cant stand jaggies etc..
It will run bioshock for sure at 1024*768 you will just need to tweak a few settings, also I highly doubt 6800GT models were there in 128mb variants, the ones which were there castrated versions ie XT, GS monickers etc. not worth at all with 128bit memory interface
6800 GT is always better.
