Does anyone use reliance wimax with vonage, or for that matter, with any wireless router?
the vonage modem doesnt get any internet access, even after I log into reliance wimax and then connect the ethernet wire to the modem.
help!

Depending on voip adapter u have from vonage ( linksys spa2008 or pap2 ) you can dial a series of numbers to check if the phone has got ip settings from dhcp . Do u have a modem that servers ip address over dhcp ? If not u can dial **** to enter config menu and enter static ip address ( refer manual ) .`
My adaptor is Motorola VT2142.. the settings is shown in the attached pic. It also has option of changing from DHCP to static and PPoE.
When I lift my handset, I hear a message that the Modem Network settings is incorrectly configured.. Can you please help?

i use wimax with a wifi-router…i dunno much abt vonage tho…
Finally got it working!! It seems the wimax connection gets tied to the MAC address. By cloning the MAC address on the Voip gateway, I could access the net!
