Resize large images automatically

Can we have an automatic image resize on the forum please?

Many forums I visit have an option in the usercp where we can set our preferable resolutions that large images are resized to. For example some one uploads a 1440x900 image and the monitor is 1024x768, we can set 10x7 as the preferable resolution in the UserCP and whenever an image larger than 10x7 is in the page, it automatically resizes the image (with a yellow bar on top saying “click here for original resolution” or something similar).

Also can it be automatic? I mean without having to set the resolution and resizing based on present screen resolution?

This feature is there in FE. Will ask the admin to implement it here as well :slight_smile:

There was a similar system in place on TE but I guess its not working anymore. We’ll re-do the hack soon. Thanks for your feedback. :slight_smile:

Done. The default size is 640x480.

You can edit the options in your User CP. :slight_smile:
